Mission & Vision of New Elizabeth

The foundation of Elizabeth Baptist Church began in September 1922 under the leadership of founding Pastor William David Leighton served from 1922-1967; Pastor Stanley Bradford served from 1967-1985; Pastor David Boyd served from 1985-2002; and Pastor William David Boyd served from 2002 - 2020. Each Pastor served faithful and worked tirelessly to build the kingdom of God at NEBC.
NEW ELIZABETH BAPTIST CHURCH, whose name reminds us of Elizabeth (the mother of John the Baptist, who served as the forerunner of Jesus), continues to spread the good news of JESUS CHRIST and stand strong on the Word of God.
We, the members of NEBC, are proud to be part of the great heritage. For 9 decades, the church has led many to Christ, helped the downtrodden and produced ministers of the Gospel.
We stand strong because of the work of many great men and women who paved the way for NEBC.
